Responsibility for the safe and professional conduct of the project rests with the teacher, students and parents designated in the application. The teacher and students are jointly responsible for following the guidelines when applying for a grant under this program.

Important:
Final Reports MUST be submited in 2 different ways: Online and by Ground Mail. Mail submitions must have postal stamp with mail date of May 21, 2009 at the latest.
Students MUST send the Final Reports to their mentors to review it before submiting them.
Final Reports MUST ONLY be submitted ONCE online. If it is uploaded more than once, we will only take in consideration the first one.
Mentor/Teacher MUST be the one to submit one proposal per project online as well as sending it by mail.
Mentor/Teacher MUST read and agree to the Rules and Conditions.
Make sure all following steps has been finished by their datelines.
1. UPLOAD MICROSOFT WORD FINAL REPORT. DEADLINE: MAY 7, 2010
2. SUBMIT 5 - 10 MINUTE VIDEO PRESENTANTION. DEADLINE: MAY 28, 2010
3. MAIL VIDEO CAMERA AND RECEIPTS FOR SUPPLIES STAPLED TO FINAL REPORT.
DEADLINE: MAY 28
4. MENTOR’S BIOGRAPHY WRITTEN BY THE STUDENTS. DEADLINE: JUNE 9, 2010
5. SUMMER INTERNSHIP ESSAY: OPTIONAL. DEADLINE: MAY 14, 2010

All student projects are required to have a 100-word or less biography of their mentor(s) to be displayed adjacent to your poster board presentations on June 9th 2010 at the Liberty Science Center student symposium.

This year, YSAP is pleased to announce that in collaboration with the MIRTHE Centers at Princeton University and the City College of New York, we will offer two summer internships to qualifed YSAP students. The internship will provide an opportunity for the student to work alongside professionals to conduct science research over a ten-week period during the summer of 2010.
